TypingMaster 12 for Linux - package for an existing Wine installation
=====================================================================

FOR ADVANCED USERS. Most users should install the Flatpak package from
https://www.typingmaster.com/linux-typing-tutor/ instead: it includes a
tested Wine version and needs no setup.

This package uses the Wine already installed on your computer. It is much
smaller, but how well TypingMaster works depends on your Wine version.
Support is best effort.

Requirements
------------
- Wine 9 or newer, with 32-bit support
  (Ubuntu/Debian: packages "wine" and "wine32:i386")
- 64-bit Intel/AMD Linux; on ARM only with a Wine setup that runs x86
  programs (e.g. Box64)
- About 400 MB of free disk space

Install
-------
    tar xzf TypingMaster-*-linux-wine.tar.gz
    cd TypingMaster-*-linux-wine
    ./install.sh

TypingMaster then appears in the application menu (Education). It uses its
own Wine prefix in ~/.local/share/typingmaster/wine, separate from ~/.wine.

To update, install a newer package the same way. Your progress is kept.

Window size: edit ~/.config/typingmaster.conf and set DPI=auto, 96, 120,
144 or 192.

Uninstall
---------
    ~/.local/share/typingmaster/uninstall.sh (keeps progress)
    ~/.local/share/typingmaster/uninstall.sh --delete-data (removes all)
