Typing test settings
Force completion When set to 'Enabled' the test taker is required to finish the test before sending any results.
Backspace behavior With this setting you can either allow the test takers to use backspace to correct errors during the test or prevent it. If allowed, the test taker can correct errors in the current word s/he is typing. However, once the test taker types a space after a word, corrections typed can no longer be made to this last word.
Default test duration

Options from which the users can choose typing test duration. By default, this is set to 5 minutes. Other options are: 1-5 min. (user choice), i.e. user can select any duration from 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 minute duration, and: 1-60 min. (user choice), i.e. 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes.

If a minimum accuracy percentage to pass is set on the 'Tests' tab, it overrides this setting.

Speed unit This option sets the typing speed measurement unit used. In the US, the standard unit is WPM, i.e. Words per Minute. In Europe, the standard typing speed unit is CPM, i.e. Characters per Minute (also called KPM, Keystrokes or Keydepressions per Minute).
