Satellite Security Information TypingMaster Satellite is able to monitor and save the words that you type. These words are then used to create personalized exercises and they can also be seen in the statistics section of the program. If you need to type confidential information of any kind -- passwords, personal email and web addresses etc. -- there are some security issues you should take into account. High SecurityTypingMaster Satellite itself does not fulfill high security requirements. However, high security can be obtained using appropriate Windows NT security settings. Make sure that:

Security StatementTypingMaster Satellite is able to monitor typing and reconstruct typed words. However, Satellite is unable to reconstruct sentences, it can save only single words. Satellite saves the collected data in the user's own Application Data folder and uses it in the program to show statistics and create personalized exercises. Satellite does not use this data in any other way nor send it anywhere. Satellite is not able to monitor the Windows logon password nor network logon passwords. TypingMaster, Inc. does not under any circumstances guarantee the security of TypingMaster Satellite and does not recommend its use to anybody in high security environments.
