Move server installation to new server

Probably the easiest way to transition your current installation to a new server is to copy the whole TypingMaster installation folder from the "Program Files" folder to the same folder on your new server. This is because some files are also kept in the main TypingMaster installation folder.
After you have finished copying. Complete the "School / Company" installation of TypingMaster Pro on your new server. Remember to set the installation folder to the one you just copied over form the old server. This procedure will set the shortcuts and registry keys to your new server.
You can download the setup package for TypingMaster Pro at the following location:
http://www.TypingMaster.com/general/gettmpro.asp
If you have installed TypingMaster Pro to your network using the NetSetup.exe tool (which copies files to workstations), you will need to run this tool again from each of your workstations. This is required because the new location of the server installation needs to be updated for all workstations.
If you have done a shortcut installation, where each workstation has a shortcut to the server installation, then a new shortcut with the new location needs to be copied to all workstations.
Once you have done this, the installation should work just as it did on the old server. The license and user information should be successfully transferred to the new server. If you have workstation licenses, you might want to remove the old server from the "Licenses" page in the "User Manager" program so that it doesn't take a license any more.
