We have just released the new TypingMaster Online 2010 Update bringing a bunch of new features. The brand new Junior Typing Course is a lighter version of the standard course, for use with children ages 8-12. With easier drills, shorter exercises and adapted information screens, the learning curve is optimal for younger users.

Other new features include color-coded keyboard graphics and new typing games.

More information on the 2010 Update and its new features is available here.

I just accidentally archived a group of students. I can't seem to find either an undo feature or any mention of it in the manual or in this support forum.

What is this feature, archive? How do I get those students back?

Hi jimmiles,

Thank you for your question. Here's the answer for everyone who's still wondering about the Archive.

If you have User licenses you can not delete the users permanently. Instead we offer the Archived Users group. The Archived Users group works so that it hides any user placed in that group from the Users page and reports, also users in that group can not login.

To place users in the Archived Users group go to the Users tab then select the checkbox for the users you want to place in the group (to select all users check the checkbox at the very top where the column headings are). Once you have the users selected click on the Hide and Archive button at the bottom of the page under the heading User Actions.

You can easily recover the users in the Archived Users group by selecting the group from the first drop down on the Users tab. Then next to each user is a Recover User link.

I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions regarding TypingMaster Online features, feel free to post them on the forum!
