I have a student who cannot login, even though I have double checked his name and password and they are accurate with what I set up for his account.

Here is a little trick to check everything is OK. Firstly, login to the Manager and go to the Users tab.Then search for the user ID you want to change the password for. If this brings up multiple users this may be the cause of the problem. With the import tool there is a small possibility that two users with the same login were created. To fix this rename the login for one of the users.

If you still only get one user go to their settings and change both the login name and password, this can just be some test values like "user1" and "password". Then save the changes. Go back and then enter the actual login for that user and the real password you want them to have and again press save.
