Students of South Carolina Virtual School Program enjoy new TypingMaster Online

South Carolina Virtual School Program is using the Typing Master Online program in a virtual environment to teach keyboarding skills to students in grades 5-12. This fully featured web based typing tutor allows access from both school and at home. Anywhere the student has access to the Internet, they can complete lessons in their SCVSP online course due to the ease and accessibility of Typing Master Online.

Tracy Sanders, Technical Program Manager with SCVSP, says “The program, which supports Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, requires no installation or maintenance and you always stay up-to-date with the latest version. This is a problem free program that really gets results.”

The SCVSP has had great results with a ninety-six percent completion rate for the Touch Typing program. Students enjoy the versatile course material and the diverse exercises. Students stay motivated and interested in improving their keyboarding speed and skill. Keyboard drills, timed exercises, review exercises, typing tests and games provide optimal support for every phase of learning.

Typing Master Online is aligned with the curriculum standards for this Career and Technology Education course for the state of South Carolina. Typing Master Online is also in compliance with ISTE’s student technology standards for the 21st century classroom. Sanders says, “Students love Typing Master Online.
