Typing Quest Hops On To Tablets

December 14, 2016

The wait is over – our keyboarding courses are now available also for tablets! All the engaging keyboarding exercises that you have enjoyed on computers are now brought over to tablets in every detail. The Study Area has also been given a new refreshed look to make it a pleasure to use on touch screen.

Using Typing Quest on your tablet is really simple. Just open the browser, head to your Typing Quest login page and start practicing – no app installation is needed. However, please note that the touch typing courses require an external keyboard.

So, if you are using tablets in your classroom, just go ahead and give the updated courses a try!

PS. This update also means that Typing Quest will no longer require Flash plug-in on PC’s, laptops and Chromebooks.

New: Explore the Keyboard on Touch Screen

We are currently developing new, groundbreaking games that introduce keyboard to younger kids and are designed to work with touch screens. These fun games help even the first-graders to get familiar with the keyboard without having to know how to type. The kids can easily try out these games by logging in to Typing Quest and clicking the “Lab” icon on the left.
