TypingMaster Pro in Walhalla Middle School

Tracy Sanders teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade computer classes at Walhalla Middle School and has been using TypingMaster since 1998. She teaches about 140 students daily and all her classes learn touch typing with TypingMaster Pro.

"My students begin in the sixth grade moving through the basic program for nine weeks. Seventh graders are required to meet a higher standard than sixth graders and so on for eighth graders. After going through the TypingMaster program in each of the grades, my 8th graders leave me typing from 40-100 WPM. This makes it very nice for the high school, any required reports, etc.

TypingMaster is a wonderful program that has evolved into a very user friendly network compatible program ideal for education. The record keeping is super. I love the way you can send a class or a student a message and schedule a test when they log in to the program! Also, it is beneficial to be able to pull up a report on a student while they are working in the program. For as much as typing goes, the students like the program. I really promote the program to my students and their parents to download. I have had several parents download and use the program.

I enjoy the program and feel my students do also!! I also hear lots of positive remarks from my parents!"
