This has been a very popular question lately possibly due to new Windows 7.

We do not recommend moving an installed copy of TypingMaster Pro to another drive or computer. Instead, it is best to uninstall and reinstall the software to the new location.

You can first uninstall by going to "Start > Settings > Control Panel" Select "Add/Remove Programs". Find TypingMaster Pro from the list of programs, select it and press "Add/Remove".

If you would like to keep all your user information:
Once you have uninstalled, your user data will remain in TypingMaster folders. After reinstalling the software into the new drive/computer, move these files from the old install to the new. If asked to overwrite any existing files select Yes. Please see the location of the study data below.

This should let you continue where you left off. Note that if you do not need to keep your user information I recommend just doing a fresh install and inserting the license again.

In version 7.0, the study data is located here:
c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\TypingMaster7\
The easiest way to browse to this folder is to click Windows Start Menu, choose Run.. and enter there %APPDATA% and click OK (the percent marks are important!).
