We just purchased and installed TM pro. I noticed that the test texts have only one space after a period, but I was taught to use two. Is one space now acceptable, and I'm just behind the times? Is there a way for me to change that other than manually editing each text?

Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for your post. One or two spaces after a period is today a matter of taste. Most of the time, one space is used and taught but some people prefer two spaces, and in academic papers and such two spaces may be required if a monospaced font is used.

See this article for more (many more can be found on the topic if you search with "one or two spaces after period", for example): http://desktoppub.about.com/cs/typespacing/a/onetwospaces.htm

In TypingMaster, one space is used but typing two spaces is accepted and not counted as a mistake. To practice with two spaces, the workaround is to manually edit the texts in TypingMaster, there is no other way.

I hope this is of help, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
