I am using QuickPhrase and can not follow manual instructions to change the form to have it work in Instant Service (chat application for work). The screen is not the same as what I see when I go to properties and settings. Please help if you know how to do this. I would like to get it to work for me in this program. Thanks!

Please specify the problem in details, is the problem with FOCUS macro?

PS: Unfortunately the manual has a bit outdated screen capture of settings page, there are nowadays even more settings available.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the issue is with figuring out how to set up the Focus Macro in order to concentrate on one certain application. I appreciate your help very much!

Syntax for macro is:

{#FOCUS(WindowTitle)}

So first you enter this row and below it the keystroes to be sent.

You can test with Notepad, by using this macro when blank Notepad is running:

{#FOCUS(Untitled - Notepad)}
TESTING

Thank you. So the Macro should be before the phrase in the phrase content box, correct? I appreciate your help very much. I love this!!!!

I'm sorry. It's still not workin. I have tried doing the Focus before and after my phrase in the phrase content window, and nothing. It only worked once and now nothing. The chat window I use is Instant Service. I have also tried using ATG Live Help or Agent Console. Is there something I am doing wrong? (I have tried this in Live Person and it works great, but that's a different chat tool/application). Please help!

The focus macro should be first always.

Sorry but you need to know their Window title to use Focus macro, I am not sure how these applications work, do they have a window with a title?

Have you tried to solve this another way: Assign a hotkey to your own text/macro and this allows you to go to chat application first and then press e.g. Ctrl+alt+1
