Coming Soon: New Version 4

Great news to our TypingMaster Online customers! We are bringing a bunch of new features to the service in August 2010. The biggest addition is a new Junior Typing Course. It is an easier and lighter version of the standard course, for use with children ages 8-12. Now even the younger students can enjoy learning with TypingMaster. Other improvements included are: an intuitive color-coded keyboard; new bonus games playable only after a completed lesson; a Result Forecast feature that helps teachers identify early the students who may need additional support to complete the course.

New Features
Junior Typing Course Now students ages 8-12 can learn keyboarding with a new dedicated course. With easier drills, shorter exercises and adapted information screens, this course sets the learning curve optimal for younger users. Color-Coded Keyboard The interactive keyboard shown in the drills becomes color-coded to make it easier to know which finger to use for which key.		Result Forecast This exciting new feature shows the teacher the predicted final result of a student, based on a thorough analysis of over 10,000 TypingMaster study records. With just a few lessons completed, the teacher can see the projected speed and accuracy scores for the final test and spot the students who need extra practice. Bonus Games Let students play typing games - KeyMan and Bubbles - after they have successfully completed the current lesson.

New Junior Course Already Available

The beta version of the Touch Typing Course for Juniors is already available for you to try - just follow these easy steps:

1. If you don't have TypingMaster Online account yet, please register for free

2. Log in to TypingMaster Online as an Administrator

3. Open the Courses page from the menu

4. Look for "Junior Typing Course" course and click "Open in Study Area.." button

5. Now you can browse the course and complete drills

Please note that this beta course version does not yet have all the new features and improvements. The finalized version will be out in August.

Pricing And Schedule

We will offer the Junior Typing Course for no extra cost to all TypingMaster Online customers until August 2011. The other new features will be available at no additional cost to all customers with an active subscription.

We'll release the finalized version of the Junior Typing Course and the color-coded keyboard by mid-August. The bonus games and the Result Forecast feature will be added by the end of September. Updating will not require any actions from you - the new features will be added automatically to your TypingMaster Online account.
