TypingMaster Online Updated with Junior Course and More
25-Aug-2010 We have just released the new TypingMaster Online 2010 Update bringing a bunch of new features. The brand new Junior Typing Course is a lighter version of the standard course, for use with children ages 8-12. With easier drills, shorter exercises and adapted information screens, the learning curve is optimal for younger users.
Other new features include color-coded keyboard graphics; new typing games; and the Result Forecast feature (launched in September) that predicts final result of a student, based on an analysis of over 10,000 existing study records.

1-October-2009 We are proud to release the new version 4 of TypingMaster for LMS. The new version features several enhancements, such as more customization options courses and typing tests and detailed course reports for students and teachers.
In addition, you can now have courses in several languages: English, German, Spanish,
French, Dutch, Swedish and Finnish - all with the respective keyboard
layout support. Also, you can choose from either Java or ActiveX user interface when previously there was Java only. The
ActiveX interface will give added functionality in review and in games.
1-June-2009 Due to the growing popularity of TypingMaster for LMS we have now added support for the SCORM 2004 standard. As a result the new version now supports course/lesson specific mastery score and completion threshold.
Additionally, there is now Single SCO version for the SCORM 1.2 standard that allows full course navigation within the typing tutor and saves only a single score per course.

05-Nov-2007 TypingMaster radio ad "Talk Like You Type" won both "Best Use of Copywriting" and "Best in Show" awards in Radio EAR awards at Lincoln Center, New York. The spot was produced by Sam Pond from Pond Radio Entertainment. In the hilarious ad the voiceover speaks the mangled English of a poor typist.
Sam Pond says that the idea for the spot came "straight out of my own horrible typing skills. I was drumming up ideas on the computer, typos flying. I read a paragraph aloud and realized that it was a good thing I didn't talk like I typed."
